White Cliff (ASX:WCN) claim high-grade Canadian copper

November 8, 2023 Off By Rueben Hale

Under new leadership, White Cliff Minerals has made its move and fully secured multiple historic projects covering 805 square kilometres of territory and outstandingly high-grade copper lodes across a sole structural trend in Canada’s Navanut province.

Identified for just a $25,000 Canadian finder’s fee, exploration has already validated dozens of highly prospective copper and silver occurrences and traced outcropping mineralisation beyond a hundred kilometres of total strike length.

Now known as the Coppermine River Project, there are numerous historical non JORC estimates to be investigated as a priority for White Cliff as it continues building up a new portfolio.

White Cliff Chairman Roderick McIllree said the project is exceptional and just like all great discoveries, has a deep history.

“Managing to secure, at very little cost, 100% tenure with no royalty over a such a massive, mineralised trend analogous in scale, geology and evolution to the entire Mt Isa & Keweenaw Peninsula copper provinces is a remarkable result for shareholders,” Mr McIllree said.

“Importantly for short term value creation the high-grade structurally controlled copper mineralisation within the Coppermine Formation appears to have significant lateral extent and we will be analysing a significant database of historical results with regular news likely to follow.”

Mr McIllree added that the high-grade results traced along local and regional shear zones were both numerous and repeatable.

“Identifying the detailed dimensions of these high-grade mineralised occurrences will be the short-term focus. I believe the scale of these mineralised trends will be proven to be significant over time,” he said.

“This is a remarkable opportunity for White Cliff, the potential to create significant shareholder value is obvious. Planning for site-based activities is underway as well as interrogation, verification and publication of a historical datasets means we will be updating shareholders on this project regularly.”

“We also hope to update shareholders on several additional complimentary projects we have also secured at very low cost within the coming weeks.”

Forward plan

White Cliff plan on using exploration methods proven successful in developing similar copper deposits, and field crews will soon be mobilised for its first trip to Navanut.

The explorer will also acquire all high-resolution satellite products, aerial photography and data it can get its hands on, while assessing airborne techniques for targeting as it prepares a quick move to diamond drilling in its new territory.
